人口増加で、オスロの交通アクセスに限界がくる
オスロでは、毎年１万２千人もの人口が増加している。増え続ける市民の数に、公共交通機関には大きな改革が必要とされている。
数年前はゆったりと空いていたメトロ車内の光景は大きく変化した。
今やラッシュアワーの１５時以降になると、乗客が椅子に座れずに立つことも余儀なくされるように。満員電車は東京では当たり前の光景だが、人口６５万人規模のオスロ市民にとっては、息が詰まるほどのストレス空間なのだ。
10年ぶりの新駅が誕生。もちろん、今日のオスロのトップニュース
４月３日、オスロで１０年ぶりに（！）新しいメトロ駅がオープンした。ローエン(Løren)駅は、中央駅よりメトロで１２～１９分でアクセスできる。観光客は立ち寄らないエリアだが、ローエン駅開設により、全体の路線図は大きく変化した。６路線あったが、５路線に減少。
東京とオスロのメトロは構造が大きく異なる。オスロは駅数は少なく感じるが、なんと、今回の増設で北欧最大級の駅数を誇るメトロの街となった。
地下２６メートルの深さ
路線図の改革は、旅行者も利用する中心地を含む市内の交通アクセスを円滑にさせると建設事業者は発表。ムンク美術館のあるトイエン駅から、ヴィーゲラン彫刻公園があるマヨールストゥーエン駅間は、メトロ全線が走る。トンネルで各車両が混雑し、一時停止しがちだったが、それが改善されると考えられている。
ルーエン駅の１日の利用者数は約８０００人。地下２６メートルの深さは１０階建ての建築物に相当。

観光スポット巡りでは立ち寄らない駅だが、中心地からすぐにアクセスできる。北欧建築デザインや、北欧の交通デザインに興味がある方はぜひ立ち寄ってみるとよいかもしれない。デザイン事務所は、アーネ・ヘンリクセン・アーキテクト（Arkitekt Arne Henriksen arkitekter）と、MDHアーキテクト（MDH Arkitekter）。
鮮やかなブルーとピンクの色は、灰色でどんよりしがちな他の駅よりも、気分が明るくなる。冷やりとした、まるで氷のトンネルの中にいるかのような雰囲気は、雪国ノルウェーならではのデザイン空間ともいえる。
さて、オスロのメトロといえば、信号トラブルなどで延滞が最近当たり前のように起きているが、今回の新駅開設で改善されるだろうか？

First off I would like to say wonderful blog! I had a quick question which I'd like to ask if you do not mind. I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your mind prior to writing. I've had difficulty clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out there. I do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be lost just trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or tips? Kudos!
